Subject Tutors - All National Curriculum Subjects

Frobel Education is recruiting passionate and knowledgeable tutors across all National Curriculum subjects to support students from KS1 to KS5.
We are looking for tutors who can inspire students, build confidence and support strong academic progress. Tutors deliver 1-to-1 and small-group tuition, with groups limited to a maximum of five students. Our tutors support a wide range of learning needs, from developing core knowledge and skills to preparing students for SATs, GCSE and A Level examinations, as well as adult education.
Subjects
We welcome applications from tutors across all National Curriculum subjects and Functional Skills, with particular interest in the following areas:
- Maths
- English
- Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
- Computing
- Humanities (History and Geography)
- Business
- Economics
- Functional Skills
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for tutors who have:
- Strong subject knowledge in the subject(s) they teach.
- At least an A Level, or equivalent qualification, in the subject(s) they teach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Polite and effective interpersonal skills.
- A professional and organised approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and working effectively with young people.
- The ability to follow Frobel's policies, procedures and teaching expectations.
Experience of teaching or tutoring at GCSE and/or A Level would be particularly valuable.

Contract:
Permanent and casual contracts available
Hours:
Part-time and full-time opportunities available. Individual working hours are agreed with the Centre Supervisor according to Centre requirements and tutor availability.
Salary:
£12.71 – £22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience and teaching responsibilities.

Centre Supervisor
Training and support:
New tutors receive induction, safeguarding and GDPR training at the start of their employment. Subject-specific training and ongoing guidance are provided, and new tutors work under supervision during their initial period at Frobel Education.
Professional standards:
All Frobel tutors are expected to maintain high standards of professional conduct, uphold Teachers’ Standards Part 2 and work in accordance with relevant safeguarding requirements, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and the Prevent Duty.
